The Carbondale Terriers bounced back from a devastating 49-7 blowout loss to Murphysboro in Week 1 with a massive 23-10 upset win over Mt. Vernon in Week 2.  Coach Bryan Lee talked about that turn around, what the focus leading in to the game with Mt. Vernon was, and this week's game against Collinsville on this week's Team of the Week Podcast.

The Lady Vols opened the season at State Fair Community College last week going 0-2.  Despite that, Coach Charlie Jones sees reason to be encouraged in his young team.  He and star center Cheyenne Trotter joined Talkin Vols on Tuesday.

The Johnston City Indians had to fight for a win over #14 Auburn last week but they came out on top 16-8.  Now they're headed to #11 Breese (Mater Dei) this Saturday, a team that presents a lot of problems.  Matt Varney and head coach of the Indians, Todd Thomas, discussed both games and solutions to the Breese Mater Dei Knights.
