Pete Gordon and Rick Hayes sat down together Friday morning to discuss some of the hot button topics in IHSA basketball right now, looking back at Coach Gordon's first year at West Frankfort after coming from Thompsonville, and look forward to this coming year with the hopes basketball actually does happen in Illinois.
Carbondale Football coach Bryan Lee spoke with the voice of the Terriers, Roger Medlen, before Friday night's game at Murphysboro. It will be the 103rd meeting between the two teams and the 100th anniversary since their first meeting. Lee talks about getting some normalcy back and dealing with Murphysboro's Wing T offense. Murphysboro began holding Open Gym for their basketball players on Thursday with contact days becoming available once again to the high-risk sport participants. Matt Varney was there and spoke with Daryl Murphy about the frustrations over what basketball players can and can't do, as well as how it is affecting some of those athletes...
