Matt Varney got on the phone with several area basketball coaches Tuesday evening when the news came out that Governor J.B. Pritzker and IDPH had raised basketball from a medium-risk sports to a high-risk sport.    Take a listen to how area coaches reacted to the news:

Brad Norman joined Murphysboro earlier this spring as Head Golf Coach and assistant basketball coach.  He took the reins on Wednesday at the Benton Summer Shootout and led the Red Devils to a 2-1 record in pool play, getting wins over Jerseyville and Freeburg.  He and the voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, discussed the day and joining the program:
