Red Devils coach Gary Carter talks with voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, about finally getting to play football, pieces of the Murphy roster, and his relationship with Rod Sherrill, the coach of the Herrin Tigers, who Murphysboro is matched up with Saturday afternoon.
The Murphysboro Red Devils were selected as the Team of the Week in Week 1 of the Football season after the Red Devils outlasted Carbondale 46-43 in a triple overtime thriller. The voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, spoke with Coach Gary Carter about how the offense is developing as conference action in the SIRR approaches, their Week 3 opponent Carterville, and more:
