Carbondale Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that happened Christmas Eve.

Officers were called to the 500 block of South Beveridge Street just after 9:20 p.m. Police say a home was damaged by gunfire, but no injuries were reported.

Investigators believe the incident was tied to a personal dispute and not a random act.

Anyone in the area with home security video is asked to review their footage and contact Carbondale Police if they have information. The investigation remains ongoing.
