An attack Sunday night in Carbondale is under investigation.

Carbondale Police responded to a report of an attack in the 400 block of West College Street. According to authorities, the victim was walking through yards between West College and West Freeman Street when two men came out and began to attack him.

One of the suspects is described as an African-American male standing around 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.
