
Carbondale, Ill. – A suspect is in custody for two robberies in Carbondale.
Carbondale Interim Police Chief Jeff Grubbs says the man is accused of robbing the Walgreens on S. Wall Street around 3 a.m. Monday and the Casey’s General Store on Giant City Road around 11:15 p.m. Monday.
Both robberies included a man claiming to have a gun.
The identity of the man was not released. He’s charged with aggravated robbery in both cases.
