A change of venue motion brought by Gage Bethune, the Marion man charged in the murder of Pravin Vargughese, has been challenged.

Prosecutors arguing that extensive media coverage of the trial doesn’t necessarily give all possible jurors a prejudiced opinion about the case.

Bethune has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
