Funeral arrangements have been completed for Bart Mann – who was hit and killed while riding his bicycle on Thursday night.

Mann was a well-known community activist who organized the annual Mayor’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Herrin and served on the board of directors for Williamson County Habitat for Humanity.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Du Quoin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin.
