A Tennessee man has been sentenced to one year in prison for charges stemming from a high speed chase on July 21.

19 year old Aerrion Inge of Memphis Tennessee was pulled over for speeding on I-57 in Pulaski County, but drove off from the scene while an officer was checking his driver’s license information.

A high speed chase ensued, with Inge eventually driving northbound in the southbound lanes of the interstate for seven miles before abandoning his vehicle. He was eventually arrested after a foot pursuit.

Inge pleaded guilty yesterday to aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
