A SWAT team was called in by Carbondale Police on Sunday evening, as they investigated a report of shots fired.

Police say an argument between acquaintances in the 500 block of South Graham Street on Sunday night led to shots being fired –

Police say they believed that a suspect was inside the home on South Graham Street and repeatedly tried to make contact – eventually they got a search warrant and the SWAT Team entered the home, but no one was inside.

Police say some of the suspects left the scene in a white jeep and it was later found in Marion.

This incident remains under investigation – no injuries or arrests have been reported.
