An Anna man was injured in a crash yesterday on Interstate 57 near mile marker 42 in Johnson County.
Traffic slowing for construction at this location has been the scene of three accidents in the past four days.
Yesterday’s crash happened about 3:55 p.m., when authorities say a semi driven by a man from Ohio failed to slow down when traffic slowed for construction, and hit a Fore Explorer driven by 52 year old John Sullivan. He was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. A woman and three children riding in Sullivan’s van were not injured.
The truck driver was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
