Six fires within a four hour time period in Marion are being investigated for arson today.

According to the Marion Police Department, the first fire was reported just before 8:00 PM Tuesday and the last just after 1:00 AM Wednesday.

Officials say that the person or people responsible set fire to a utility trailer and four-wheeler, an apartment building, and multiple homes – some with the residents still inside.

The City of Marion is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the fires.
