DU QUOIN, Ill. (WJPF) -The NubAbility Athletics Foundation in Du Quoin is expanding.

The foundation is a nonprofit serving children with congenital and acquired limb differences since 2011

NubAbility recently received a gifted church property that now serves as its home base and is the site of the NubAbility Sports Sanctuary, a first-of-its-kind facility designed to provide year-round, one-on-one training opportunities for limb-different youth.

Conditioning equipment has been made possible through donations from Greenville University and The Hambrick Foundation, whose team traveled to Du Quoin from Cedar Hill, Missouri, to present a check in support of the initiative.

For more information about NubAbility Athletics Foundation, including opportunities to support, volunteer, or register a limb-different youth ages 4–17 for camp, visit www.nubability.org.
