During routine monitoring in December 2025, the city recorded a reporting error involving chlorine disinfection levels. Officials say the data suggested standards may not have been met, but a follow-up review confirmed the water was properly disinfected and remained within safe limits.
City leaders say testing during that time found no signs of contamination, and the water was safe for normal use.
Although the reporting issue couldn’t be corrected after the fact, officials say disinfectant levels have continued to be closely monitored, with all readings meeting required standards since then.
Residents are not being asked to take any action. The city says the water remains safe to use.
