The Centralia Orphans remain atop the John A. Logan College SI Basketball Poll. Despite beating Mt. Vernon 45-31 in the Salem Midwinter Championship game, the Orphans lost hold of their unanimous #1 ranking as one first place vote went to Mt. Vernon.
The Nashville Hornets jumped up from #3 to #2 with a dominant 66-33 win over Breese Central in the Nashville Invitational Championship game.
Waltonville continues to climb, they are up to #6 after a 52-34 win over Woodlawn in the Midland Trail Conference Tournament championship.
Sparta is also up to #7 after a 67-59 win over Pinkneyville at the Sparta Midwinter Championship.
