A man is facing a felony charge after deputies say they found methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Zeigler.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says it happened just after midnight Monday, near the intersection of Illinois 148 and Illinois 149.

Deputies say a K-9 unit alerted to the vehicle, and a search turned up a substance that tested positive for meth.

The driver, 43-year-old Ryan Davis of Zeigler, was arrested and taken to the Franklin County Jail on traffic offenses and unlawful possession of meth.
