Authorities say 45-year-old Megan Valentine faces multiple felony charges, including murder, in the death of her husband, Illinois Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Michael Valentine.

Online court records show her pre-trial hearing is scheduled for January 29th at 1 p.m. before Judge Thurston at the Edwards County Courthouse.

State police say Judge Valentine was found dead outside a home in the 1100 block of County Road 600 in Albion on November 5th of last year. A deputy with the Edwards County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body after responding to a call just after noon.
Investigators arrested Megan Valentine later that day. She was taken to the White County Jail, where she remains held on the charges.
