A Marion man is among 15 individuals who allegedly participated in a drug trafficking ring in Mt. Vernon.
45-year-old Major Monroe was indicted on federal meth-related charges. He is accused of engaging in a conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of meth in Jefferson County.
If convicted, Monroe faces a prison sentence of 5 to 40 years, a fine of up to $5 million and at least four years of probation.
