WILLIAMSON COUNTY – A Herrin man has pleaded guilty to federal armed robbery charges.

38-year-old Travis Taylor was accused of robbing the Valero gas station in Marion back in April.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, Taylor pleaded guilty to interfering with commerce by robbery, which is a violation of the Hobbs Act.

He’s to be sentenced in November. He could face up to 20 years behind bars.
