A 22-year-old man has been killed in a UTV crash in Pope County.

According to State Police, the driver of the UTV, Weston Adams, was westbound on Glen Dale Road, when he ran off the road, through a shallow ditch, and hit a tree.

Adams was taken by helicopter to a hospital. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending family notification.
