
John Cavaletto, the five-term republican representing Illinois’ 107 district in the state general assembly says that he won’t run for re-election.
The 77 year old didn’t give any specifics on his reason to call it quits, only saying that he plans to spend more time with his family and hopes to stay involved with the Route 50 Four-Lane Coalition.
Cavaletto was raised in Sesser and is a graduate of SIU.
