Jefferson County authorities say there was no foul play in the death of a man who came to the area to watch the solar eclipse.

54 year old James Allen Bradbury of Connecticut was found dead Monday morning in front of the Roland Lewis Building at Veterans Park.

Officials say he was traveling from Connecticut to Makanda to view the eclipse. Bradbury was suffering from lung cancer and died of a pulmonary embolism that was a complication of the disease.
