The Daily Egyptian newspaper has been named a finalist for a prestigious college newspaper award.

The Associated Collegiate Press has named the Daily Egyptian one of 25 finalists in the online Pacemaker competition. The winners will be announced October 28 at the organization’s convention in Dallas, Texas.
