The search for two DuQuoin men who are believed to have drowned in the Mississippi River enters its third day.
50 year old David Trotten and 13 year olds Paul Johnson were last seen Sunday afternoon swimming near the beach area of Devil’s Backbone Park when they were caught in the current and pulled under.
The search was held up for a short time Monday when a volunteer wanting to assist in the search effort capsized his own boat and had to be rescued himself.
