A deal with a debt collection agency has netted Williamson County nearly $350,000 since last fall.

The county is owed about $18 million in outstanding fines from criminal cases, speeding tickets and other court fees.

Credit Collection Partners is doing the collections work – it doesn’t cost the county any money. The agency adds a collection fee to the amount owed when it collects.
