Jason Stoker, the man charged for first degree murder in the death of Chester Police Officer James Brockmeyer, has now been indicted on a federal drug charge.

According to news release from US Attorney Donald Boyce’s office, Stoker has been charged with conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of meth between June and October 31, 2016.

The charge carries a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and a five million dollar fine.

Stoker is currently due to appear in Randolph County Court on multiple charges relating to the death of Officer Brockmeyer.

Brockmeyer was killed in a car crash while in high speed pursuit of Stoker.
