The investigation into the death of Saline County State’s Attorney Mike Henshaw has been officially closed.

The results of an autopsy confirming that Henshaw died as a result of accidental fall down the steps in his own home.

The Saline County Board has voted unanimously to appoint assistant state’s attorney Jayson Clark to finish out the remainder of Henshaw’s elected term.
