A date has been set for a murder trial in Perry County.

26 year old Chad Bennett is now set to stand trial on June 26 in the slaying of 15 year old Sidnee Stephens in 2010.

Bennett was first charged in the crime in 2012. Those charges were dropped because of lack of evidence. They were reinstated last fall.
