An infant’s death is under investigation in Marion. Police responded to a report of an unresponsive 10-month old at a foster home where the baby was living just after 5 AM yesterday.

The baby was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

The cause of the baby’s death is undetermined, and an autopsy has been scheduled.
