Carbondale, Ill. – At least two more meetings will be held regarding a solar farm developers wish to build at the old Koppers Wood Treatment site in Carbondale.

The Carbondale City Council deferred action on a permit filed by Brightfields Development LLC for a solar array at the site Tuesday.

No meetings were officially scheduled regarding the permit Tuesday, but members came to a consensus that at least two more meetings need to be held on the subject.
