Jackson County, Ill – Republican party officials have announced candidates running for treasurer and clerk in Jackson County.

Steve Vorhees of Murphysboro will fill the open slot on the ballot for treasurer and will run against Sharon Harris-Johnson. She won the Democratic Primary in March.

Robert Perring will run on the Republican ticket for Jackson County Clerk against incumbent Democrat Larry Reinhardt.
