Carbondale Police have issued a warrant for a suspect in the shooting of Toren Stanley.
The warrant is for 25-year-old Kely Yajid Valentino Arbuckle, a.k.a Jay Arbuckle of Murphysboro in connection with the shooting.
Police say Arbuckle and Stanley were inside the same car on the corner of East Grand Avenue and Giant City Road early Saturday morning when the shots were fired. Stanley died later that night as a result of gunshot wounds.
According to a release, Arbuckle was an acquaintance of Stanley's.
Arbuckle is charged with first degree murder and is considered armed and dangerous.
