A two vehicle crash involving only one driver sent an Ullin woman to the hospital Monday.

38 year old Bathsheba Moore was driving east on Olive Branch Road in Mounds, approaching the intersection of West Sycamore, which was closed for construction.

State Police say she ran through a road closed sign and crashed into a railroad utility truck.

According to Moore, her brakes failed.

She was later airlifted to an out-of-state-hospital.

Moore was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating unsafe equipment.
