The company has shared that they’ve received reports of scam calls from individuals pretending to be SouthEastern Illinois Electric Cooperative.

These callers may ask about things like “upgrading your meter” or request personal information.

They say if you do receive a suspicious call to not share any personal information and to call them directly at their official number to verify.
