WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A Williamson County Social Worker has been charged with criminal sexual assault.

37 year old Autumn Watson was originally charged with violating Illinois’ Firearm Child Protection and Safe Storage Act after police found a firearm in her vehicle on Marion Highschool property on August 31.

Watson was charged on September 25 for the criminal sexual assault charge following an investigation into inappropriate behavior between her and a juvenile boy.

This is an ongoing investigation.
