WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – An online prostitution investigation has led to the seizure of methamphetamine in Williamson County.

Investigators established direct electronic communication with a suspect and obtained evidence substantiating an offer to perform sexual acts in exchange for money.

Investigators confirmed the suspect’s location at a residence in the 9100 block of Maneese Lane. A search warrant was obtained and executed August 27.

During the search, detectives discovered evidence of significant narcotics possession and drug distribution activity occurring within the residence.

As a result Christina Shadowens is facing charges for Prostitution, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
