DU QUOIN, Ill. (WJPF) – A 14 year old has died after an on-track incident in Du Quoin.

In a release July 6, the American Motorcyclist Association confirmed that amateur flat track racer, Alyssa Kruppenbacker, ha died after an incident during the Mile program of the AMA Flat Track Grand Championship. She was from Crescent City, FL.

The AMA extended their deepest condolences to the Kruppenbacker family and the entire flat-track community.
