
CENTRALIA, Ill. (WJPF) – During the week of June 22nd, the Centralia Police Department joined forces with numerous outside agencies.
Search warrants were executed in the 1200 block of West Broadway Street, 1000 block of Maulding Drive, 400 block of Anderson Street, and in the Deerwood Mobile Home Trailer Park.
As a result of the search, police found 3 handguns, 1 shotgun, 5 key fobs belonging to various entered-vehicles within Centralia, ammunition, along with a suspected controlled substance.
41 year old Antwan Poore of Centralia was charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Weapon.
31 year old Demarcus Jones of Carbondale was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and 2 counts of Felon in Possession of a Weapon in tandem with an outstanding warrant for Felon in Possession of a Weapon.
1 juvenile was charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
They were all taken to the Marion County Jail.
The key fobs let to the arrest of a male juvenile. He was located and charged with 3 counts of Burglary to Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
