
SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A Murphysboro man is facing felony charges after being arrested in Saline County.
The Carrier Mills Police Department responded to a domestic dispute on June 1, where a victim suffered a broken collarbone and multiple bruises.
The victim called from the Harrisburg Medical Center emergency room where she was being treated for her injuries. The victim identified her boyfriend and father of a child, 21 year old Kevin Hale, as the abuser. She also stated that Hale destroyed her cell phone by smashing it with a hammer during the confrontation.
CMPD completed the investigation and obtained an arrest warrant as Hale had already left the area. On June 29, Hale turned himself in to the Saline County Jail.
Hale has been charged with Felony Aggravated Battery, Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.
