JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A man has been sentenced to 17 ½ years in prison for selling methamphetamine in southern Illinois.
66 year old Angelo Alvelo of Chicago, was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for felony unlawful manufacturing or delivery of meth.
Alvelo pleaded guilty last October after the Southern Illinois Enforcement Group used a confidential source to buy 30.2 grams of meth from Alvelo a few months earlier. The sale was audio and video recorded and an arrest warrant was granted by the court.
