CASEYVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – Tyson Foods is expanding its facility in the Metro East.

The $180 million investment in the Caseyville plant is expected to create 250 new jobs. Construction should be complete by next summer.

The Caseyville plant currently produces Hillshire Farm and Jimmy Dean products. The 170,000 square foot expansion will increase production for grab-n-go snacking and breakfast items through the addition of 7 new production lines.
