CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Three arrests have been made, one suspect is still at large after a shooting and armed robbery Sunday night in Carbondale.

Carbondale Police were called to an apartment in the 500 block of South University Avenue around 9:30 p.m. after a report of a woman with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police say three men — 18-year-old Tyreiq Buchanan, 19-year-old Jason Wooley, and 19-year-old Darius Nelson — broke into the apartment and robbed the victim at gunpoint. During the robbery, the victim was also beaten and shot in the leg. The victim was treated at a local hospital and later released.

Tyreiq Buchanan has been charged Home Invasion, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, and Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Darius Nelson has been charged with Home Invasion. Jason Wooley has been charged with Home Invasion and Aggravated Robbery. All three men were taken to the Jackson County Jail.

Police are currently looking for a fourth suspect, 18-year-old Kerwin Watson of Carbondale. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the City of Carbondale Police Department at (618) 457-3200.
