CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are asking for your help in finding a missing 18-year-old who may be suicidal.

According to Carbondale Police, Rakim Verner left Chicago Tuesday on an Amtrak train and sent a suicidal text to his parents.

He was last seen in Carbondale Tuesday walking south on US 51.

Verner was last known to be wearing a green t-shirt, dark pants, and eye glasses.
