SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) — 1,006 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Illinois Monday, including 33 deaths.

Currently, the Illinois Department of Public Health is reported a total of 12, 262 cases, including 307 deaths.

To date, the virus has been found in 73 counties.
