MURPHYSBORO, IL. (WJPF) – A court date has been set for a 19-year-old Carbondale High School accused of pulling a gun during a fight on board a school bus.

Jekiary Anderson is charged with one count of Unlawful Use of a Weapon in connection to the April 12, 2019 altercation that led to Carbondale High school being placed on a precautionary lock down that morning.

Anderson has pleaded not guilty. His bond is set at $10,000.

If convicted he faces two to five years imprisonment.
