MARION, IL. (WJPF) – Devin O’Daniell, the Marion man arrested last month following the death of his three month old son, is facing new charges.

According to a release from the Williamson County State’s Attorney’s Office, O’Daniell was charged Wednesday morning with one count of First Degree Murder.

O’Daniell was already facing charges of Domestic Battery, Aggravated Domestic Battery, and Aggravated Battery to a Child.

Additional charges may be brought pending a review of official medical records from St. Louis.

O’Daniell is currently being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $1 million bond.
