A Williamson County man will spend the next five years in prison on federal gun charges.

Austin Sims was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty in July to a three count indictment including charges of engaging in the business of dealing firearms without a license, knowingly possessing a firearm while being an unlawful user of a controlled substance, and making materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statement to law enforcement.
