Police in Carbondale are warning local businesses about counterfeit cash that’s been making its way around town.

According to authorities there, multiple reports of fake one hundred dollar bills have been recieved.

Police say that the counterfeit bills have red Asian lettering to the left of the image of Benjamin Franklin.

Any person or business who think they may be in possession of a counterfeit bill are asked to call the department’s non-emergency telephone number.
