A 29 year old Eldorado woman is charged with DUI after State troopers say she caused a chain reaction crash on Route 13 last night.

It happened at 8:25 at the intersection of Route 13 and Route 148.

Authorities say three vehicles headed eastbound were stopped at a stoplight when Jessica Passmore hit a car driven by 31 year old Nicole Downey of Ewing, causing a chain reaction crash with two other vehicles.

Passmore and Downey and a juvenile girl in Downey’s vehicle were taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Passmore is charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and illegal transportation of alcohol.
